UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Realty Trac reports lenders seized more U.S. homes this summer than in any three months stretch since the housing boom began to slide in 2006.

Banks have seized more than 800,000 homes so far this year and were on track to seize more than a million by year's end, but fewer takeovers are expected now that several major lenders have suspended foreclosures until they can sort out the documents mess.
