INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A judge could decide later this month if three Indiana school districts can go forward with a lawsuit challenging the way the state distributes education funding.
Three school districts Hamilton Southeastern, Franklin Township and Middlebury Community Schools sued the state in February, claiming the school funding formula unfairly penalizes growing districts.
State attorneys want the suit dismissed saying that schools are state entities and lack legal standing to sue the state.
