BEIJING, China (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A Chinese man with a knife attacked two relatives of the U.S Olympic men's volleyball team at a tourist spot in China.
One of the victims was stabbed to death and the other was seriously injured. The knife-wielding man then took his own life as he jumped off the second floor of the Drum Tower in Beijing.
Arnie Ball, father of the Olympic team captain Lloy Ball, tells Indiana's NewsCenter that the two people who were attacked were relatives of U.S. Men's Head Volleyball Coach Hugh McCutcheon.
The brutal attack took place only five miles from the main Olympic site.
The U.S. Olympic Committee said the incident was isolated and with a "lone assailant."
