HOLLYWOOD (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – With book sales in the tens of millions, the midnight launch of “the Hunger Games” is expected to be big.

The Hunger Games has a teen heroine at its core, with romance taking a back seat. Set in a dystopian world in which teenagers are pitted against each other in a fight to the death that's televised nation wide. It’s darker, edgier storyline will likely get more males into the theater.

One box office analyst thinks that the Hunger Games will do better than the last Twilight movie, "Breaking Dawn Part One" which opened with $138.1 million.
