Emotional Gunman Commits Murder- Suicide At Johns Hopkins Hospital

BALTIMORE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A doctor has been shot and a patient dead at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Warren Davis, 50, became emotional after hearing the condition of his mother, a patient at Johns Hopkins, and pulled a semi-automatic handgun on the attending doctor just past 11am.

The doctor, who was shot in the abdomen, was listed in critical condition but was taken directly into surgery after fleeing the 8th floor of the main hospital building.

Baltimore city police say Davis later killed his mother, identified as Gene Davis, and turned the gun on himself shortly after 1pm.
