CHURUBUSCO, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A small town is mourning a big loss, after two promising teens were killed in a horrific car accident.
Churubusco High School students Megan Young, 16, and Andrew Spencer, 17, were killed on Thursday when their car veered off the road and landed upside down in a water-filled ditch along 550-East in Whitley County.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Friends say Young, who would have been a junior, played volleyball and basketball.
Spencer, who was about to begin his senior year, was set to play quarterback on the football team.
Friends of the pair remember them as funny and outgoing.
