ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - After a contentious legislative session, area Republicans and Democrats got together Friday morning to look forward.
The annual event is hosted by the Allen County Commissioners and is designed to help county and state government work together better.
A recent mistake "at the state level" involving tax revenues has renewed calls for more "local" review and control of state dollars.
State legislators at the event praised the county for its communication and cooperation on state issues.
