Cyber Terrorism Biggest Threat to US?

WASHINGTON (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -Threats from cyber-espionage, computer crime, and attacks on critical infrastructure will soon surpass terrorism as the number one threat facing the United States.

The directors of the FBI and National Intelligence told a Senate committee that China and Russia run robust intrusion operations against key US industries and the government. To try to steal American intellectual property, trade secrets and national security information.

In the next month, Congress is expected to take up debate about pending cyber-security legislation that could give the Department of Homeland Security new authorities to protect critical computer networks.
