FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Downtown gateways have been gaining some attention in the Summit City, specifically the overpasses that mark the entrances and exits around downtown.

Work is being done on overpasses across Clinton, Lafayette, Columbia Street, and others.

Organizers say the projects are a re-birth of old style landmarks around the city.

Funding for the projects are coming from various area groups.
