FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Fort Wayne’s leading mayoral contenders have filed new campaign finance reports, showing how much each has risen, spent, and still have left.
Eric Doden raised $141,000 between January and April.
He carried $100,000 into the year, and now has $99,000 on hand after expenditures.
Fellow Republican Paula Hughes raised $113,000, and has $89,000 left in the primary campaign.
Republican Liz Brown raised $70,000 during the period, and has $37,000 still in the bank.
The impressive war chest rests with Democratic Mayor Tom Henry, who reports a balance of $603,000, and is expected to breeze to a primary win next month without needing to spend much of his stash.
