Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A new ordinance will be introduced at the Fort Wayne City-Council meeting Tuesday night, with a goal of making the city more "bicycle friendly."
Mayor Henry announced the proposed changes to city code at a downtown press conference Tuesday morning.
The proposed changes include a "three-foot zone" that a driver must leave between a bike and their vehicle.
It clarifies that drivers can only enter a "bike lane" when turning or entering a parking space.
The ordinance will be introduced Tuesday night and discussed at next week's council meeting.
