INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Governor Daniels signed a bill Monday that toughens penalties for human trafficking.
The legislation makes it unlawful to arrange for a person to participate in any forced sexual act.
Current Indiana law only prohibits forced marriage and prostitution.
Statistics show a rise in sex trafficking in every Super Bowl city and the State Senate was adamant about passing the bill before the Super Bowl this weekend.
