INDIANA (www.incnow.tv) - Residents in northeast Indiana made more money last year than in 2010, per capita income rose from 79.4% on the dollar to 79.9%.
John Stafford of the Community Research Institute at IPFW says this figure shows the decline in income has been stopped. Stafford says per capita income in the region had been declining since 1994 and due to aggressive economic development efforts; there is reason to believe we have turned the corner.
