INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The House could vote as early as next week on a state wide smoking ban before sending it to the Senate.
As it stands now, bars will be exempted from the ban for an 18 month period after the bill becomes law.
And it also ads a broader exemption for casinos by allowing smoking anywhere on their property rather than just on gambling floors as originally proposed.
