Amanda Blumenhurst Comes Home For A Visit

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Kids at Fort Wayne's Lifetime Sports Academy got a lesson Tuesday morning from a professional golfer.

Amanda Blumenhurst is a player on the LPGA Tour.

She stopped buy the Lifetime Sports Academy to demonstrate how hard work and practice can make dreams come true.

Blumenhurst lived in Fort Wayne until the age of 14, playing in lots of youth golf tournaments, some at McMillen Park.

Amanda is playing in her first full season on the tour and said it's not as glamorous as most people would think.

She’s not been home since May 5th.
