Hines Throwing Hat In Ring...Again

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - City councilman Glynn Hines is aiming for another term in office.

The Democrat plans to announce his bid for re-election today. He'll hold a news conference at 11 Monday morning at the Grand Wayne Center. The annual Unity Day celebration will be going on at the same time at the Grand Wayne.

Hines will seek a 4th term in the city council's 6th district seat. He remains unopposed so far.

Democrat councilwoman Karen Goldner also plans to make an announcement about her future at 1PM at the Firefly Coffee House on N. Anthony Blvd. She is currently being challenged by Republican Kurt Gutman for the council's 2nd district seat.
