Correcting Corrections: Melissa On House Arrest - Part 1

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Indiana's NewsCenter and the Journal Gazette teams up to take a deep look at the proposed legislation that will overhaul Indiana’s prison system.

As part of the Correcting Corrections special reports we’ll cover everything from statistics that may surprise you, to the cost of an overhaul and who will pay for it.

Part of the proposed prison reform means sentencing non-violent offenders to things like home detention and outfitting them with ankle monitors. Indiana's NewsCenter News Anchor Melissa Long recently tested the bracelets by wearing one for nearly a week straight.
