Renaissance Square Co-Location May Cost Less That Expected

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The cost of combining Fort Wayne city and Allen County services may be less than expected.

The original cost estimate for co-location at Renaissance Square was about $6.4 million. But the lowest bid, from Commercial Construction, came in at $4.2 million, more than $2 million below estimate.

That covers everything from moving walls and demolishing floors to lighting.

The bid still has to be checked to make sure it meets requirements.
