INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Police are investigating a double shooting at a fast food restaurant on the Indianapolis northwest side.
Officers were dispatched just after three Wednesday afternoon to a Burger King restaurant near 71st Street and Georgetown of multiple shot fired.
Police say one man was shot in the back and a woman was shot in the leg.
Both are not considered to have experienced life threatening injuries.
Detectives have spoken with witnesses and have an active lead with a possible name.
The suspect is a black male and was last seen leaving the area in a n early 2000’s maroon Chevrolet Monte Carlo. There was reportedly a black female driving and a child in the back seat.
