UNDATED (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - According to a new study by the Pew Charitable Trust, jobless Americans are staying stuck on unemployment longer.
Researchers say more than 30 percent of Americans receiving unemployment benefits have been doing so for more than a year.
That's an increase of 25 percent over last year.
In other words, 4.2 million Americans have been without a job at least a year. That’s out of the 14 million total unemployed workers.
