Mishawaka, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - AM General plans to lay off 300 workers.
A company spokesperson says the layoffs were necessary because the company is reducing the number of Humvee's it manufactures at the northern Indiana plant.
The company has made several rounds of layoffs in recent years, including 250 workers last year.
