Detroit Shooter May Have Also Molested A Teenager

DETROIT (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Detroit Police confirm a man who shot officers at a police station had also sexually assaulted a 13-year-old.

Officials say 38-year-old Lamar Moore had kidnapped the girl and held her in the basement of his home for about 10-days before she escaped a week ago Sunday.

Hours later, while police prepared to raid Moore's home, officials say he walked into a police precinct and opened fire, injuring 4 officers.

Moore was killed when police fired back.

Authorities are still reportedly investigating Moore's motive.

A couple days after that, Moore's home was damaged in an arson fire.
