Double Fatal Accident At Wabash-Grant County Line

WABASH COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Two people are dead in a motorcycle - vehicle crash on the Wabash County - Grant County Line.

Police say the crash took place just after noon on State Road 15, just south of LaFontaine Wednesday.

Reports indicate 64-year-old Judith Sims of LaFontaine pulled out into the path of a motorcycle being driven by 55-year-old Gordon McQueen of Marion.

McQueen was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger on the motorcycle, 43-year-old Vickie Crispen of Rochester, was also killed.

Police say the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed and that neither rider was wearing a helmet, but that would not have prevented the deaths.

Sims was taken to the hospital, treated and released.

The investigation continues.
