Farmers' Almanac Forecasts Cold & Snowy Winter

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - This may be welcomed news to some after the hot and humid summer we have experienced but others may cringe at the thought.

According to the 2011 Farmers' Almanac old man winter is expected to be a little more grumpy next year.

The publication predicts a cold slap in the face for much of the Midwest as well as snowy.

The winter predictions are based upon a 194-year-old mathematical and astronomical formula.
