DETROIT (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Ford has announced plans for a 13 percent increase in factory production because of higher demand for Ford and Lincoln cars and trucks.
Ford will increase its production in the first quarter.
That means more shifts and more overtime pay at more plants.
The move comes after sales rose almost 30 percent among individual car buyers.
The company expects the increases to continue through this year.
