INDIANA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Indiana House heard testimony Monday afternoon on a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage in the Hoosier state.
Indiana law already bans gay marriage. However, supporters of the amendment say courts could overturn that law.
If it clears the legislature, the proposal would have to pass again in 2013 or 2014 before it would appear on the ballot.
