KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The city of Kendallville will honor the three-girls who saved a wheelchair-bound man from an oncoming train.
The girls are being hailed as heroes.
When 15-year-olds Jordan McCarty, Chelsea Stephens and Holly Handshoe saw the situation, they and an unidentified man called 911 and rushed to push the wheelchair off the tracks.
The ceremony will take place Tuesday night at seven in City Hall.
