KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Warsaw Police were called to the Economy Inn early Christmas Day morning with reports of a possible meth lab.
When officers arrived they located a working “one pot” meth lab and items used in the creation of meth in one room of the hotel.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrested Brandon James Karbach, 29, and Tiffany Page Anderson, 28, of Warsaw, on preliminary charges of manufacturing methamphetamine. Both Karbach and Anderson’s bonds were set at $10,000.00 individually.
As officers were leaving the scene, they identified a passing motorist as Larry Ellis Konkle, 43, also of Warsaw, who had an outstanding drug warrant was taken into custody and arrested on felony dealing a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school. Konkle’s bond was set at $50,000.00.
And early Monday morning police were called to the Walgreens Pharmacy on East Center Street with a report of individuals attempting to buy various amounts of pseudoephedrine. Once officers arrived to the scene they located five subjects inside a vehicle in the parking lot along with numerous items associated with methamphetamine production.
Mark Edward Ratliff, 30, Cory Alan Glant, 26, of Ligonier, Hayden Michael Simpson, 19, and Alan Cooley, 23, of Cromwell along with Tara Lee Tice, 19, Ligonier, who was found in the vehicle at the time were all charged with possession of methamphetamine and precursors. All five suspects currently have $2,000.00 bonds individually.
