NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – A man allegedly pretending to be a police officer is behind bars.
The Noble County Sheriff's Department received reports that 25 year old Benjamin Schrock of Kendallville went to a residence multiple times wearing clothing with the word “police” on it saying he was there to investigate a domestic dispute.
In one incident, Schrock allegedly took a female child from the home overnight and brought her to school the next day. The Sheriff's Department continues to investigate.
