ALLEN AND WHITLEY COUNTY (Indiana's NewsCenter) --- High winds hit Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio on Tuesday like a hammer.
Storms blew through the area leaving a path of destruction.
Problems were widespread.
The National Weather Service and Emergency Management office in Van Wert County Ohio confirm an "F-0" tornado, with winds up to 80 miles per hour, cut a 3.5 mile swath of damage, starting southwest of the village of Convoy.
The twister flipped a semi-trailer and camper and destroyed a barn.
Northeast Allen County in Indiana also got an unhealthy dose of powerful wind.
On Graber Road near Harlan, a barn crumpled to the ground, while a metal shop operated by Graber Excavating caved in on one side.
Pam Sinnes was lying down in her double-wide mobile home when the weather turned nasty.
Pam Sinnes/Stirred by High Winds: " I kind of peeked out my window and next thing I know, the whole house just shook."
No report yet on whether a tornado or straight line winds caused that damage, or what caused four empty train cars to tip over near the Casad Depot in eastern Allen County.
Jeff Neumeyer: " Damage also occurred in southern Whitley County. A 118-foot tall grain leg collapsed on a farm where the barn roof was ripped apart. To the west there were even more problems."
Jon Kuckuck’s 19th century barn came down with a crash.
Was it a tornado?
Jon Kuckuck/Storm Victim: " I think it was. You couldn't see anything with the way things were flying around. The way stones were whipping around, it wasn't just blowing in one direction, debris was circling around pretty good."
A mile away, the Crestview Community Church lost a roof.
Pastor Roy Blake/Church Damaged by Storm: " Fortunately, it wasn't on a Sunday. Anyway, Praise the Lord, we're here and Lord willing, we'll be back Sunday."
National Weather Service teams are also surveying damage in Wabash and Huntington counties.
There were no reports of injuries associated with any of the storm destruction.
