FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Ragweed allergies have been on the rise in the past few weeks. The sunny, dry conditions have only made things worse.
Ragweed pollination started a little early this year, and it usually peeks around Labor Day. In the meantime, keep your house closed up tight, taking advantage of the air conditioning. Also remember that pets and clothes drying outside can bring pollen into the house.
Symptoms for ragweed allergies include itchy, watery eyes, stuffy noses, and sinus pressure headaches. Over the counter medication can usually work, but if symptoms persist, it's best to see your doctor.
