INDIANA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Demonstrators rallied at the Indiana Statehouse, Monday protesting a controversial bill that some feel will weaken unions.
A vote on Indiana’s "Right to Work" passed out of committee after some lawmakers requested giving it a closer look before moving on.
The Hoosier state could become the 23rd "Right to Work" state under a bill. Lawmakers will now take up the issue later in the week.
The bill will allow Indiana workers to refuse to join unions or pay dues.
