WASHINGTON (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Federal Government is releasing the results of a 10 month probe into Toyota defects on Monday.
The problems with sticking gas pedals and unintended accelerations led to the recalls of millions of vehicles in 2009 and 2010.
Experts don't expect officials to list a definitive defect, but will instead push for safety upgrades among all automakers.
The move comes as the Japanese automaker forecast a nearly $6.7 billion profit for the 2011 business year fueled by better than expected sales in Japan, the rest of Asia and Russia.
