Verizon’s Billing Error May Put Money Back In Your Pocket

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Verizon Wireless will pay a record settlement over a "mystery fee".

The $25 million penalty from the Federal Communications Commission stems from billing errors.

Customers who unknowingly initiated data or web access were charged a $1.99 per megabyte. A fee that was a mystery to many.
