According to the Chicago Tribune, police said an alleged mugger met his match -- and then some -- last week at the hands of a 33-year-old mixed martial arts fighter.
The alleged mugger, who allegedly tried to rob the MMA fighter at gunpoint last Friday night, wound up being treated at a hospital following the encounter, according to the Tribune report. Police also said the alleged robber shot himself in the ankle during a the altercation, according to the Tribune.
