Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, who was arrested on new sex abuse charges on Wednesday, was released from jail Thursday after posting $250,000 bail, according to the Harrisburg (Pa.) Patriot-News.
Sandusky will be subject to electronic monitoring, according to the Patriot-News.
