Jerry Sandusky took a step toward a potential trial on child sex abuse charges Tuesday.
According to USA Today, the 67-year-old former Penn State assistant football coach, who is facing than 50 criminal charges, waived his preliminary hearing in a move his attorney called "a tactical measure."
Sandusky, while leaving the courthouse, said he plans to "stay the course" and "fight for four quarters," according to the USA Today report.
