According to the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Bears wide receiver Sam Hurd was arrested on federal drug charges Wednesday night after allegedly accepting a kilogram of cocaine from an undercover federal agent and a confidential informant outside a Chicago restaurant.
Authorities also allege Hurd negotiated to buy larger quantities of cocaine and marijuana to distribute in the Chicago area, according to the Tribune report.
