Actor Gerard Butler Rescued Following Surfing Accident During Movie Shoot

According to the San Mateo (Calif.) County Times, actor Gerard Butler was taken to a California hospital on Sunday following a surfing accident while shooting a move scene.

The 42-year-old Butler was rescued by a safety officer on a Jet Ski after being held underwater for two waves, according to the report. Butler was taken to a hospital and released following the incident, according to the San Mateo County Times story.
