College Student Rescued After Being Stranded in Snowbound in Car for 10 Days

According to the Tucson Citizen, a 23-year-old female college student who had been missing for 10 days was found Wednesday after being stuck in a snowbound vehicle in northeastern Arizona.

According to the Citizen story, the woman told authorities she ate candy bars and drank melted snow to survive. The woman and her vehicle were found by U.S. Forest Service employees who were checking winter road closure gates, according to the Tucson Citizen story.
