According to a news release issued last week, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Build-A-Bear Workshop have announced a voluntary recall of Colorful Hearts Teddy Bears due to a potential choking hazard.
The teddy bear's eyes could loosen and pose a choking hazard. No incidents have been reported. The bears were sold by Build-A-Bear Workshops nationwide and a www.buildabear.com from April 2011 through December 2011.
Consumers can return the bears to any Build-A-Bear store to receive a coupon for any available stuffed animal from Build-A-Bear.
