A federal judge in North Carolina on Friday delayed the criminal trial of former senator and presidential candidate John Edwards because Edwards has a heart condition and requires surgery, according to CNN.
The trial has been delayed until at least March 26 and Edwards is scheduled to undergo surgery in February, according to the CNN report.
