Disguise Surprise: Man Tries to Rob Bank With Shorts on His Head, Police Say

When it comes to bank robbery, this won't go down in history as the best of disguises.

According to a news release issued by the Monroe (Fla.) County Sheriff's Office, a 43-year-old man was arrested on Friday for allegedly attempting to rob a bank in Stock Island, Fla. while wearing a pair of shorts on his head.

According to the news release, the man allegedly  handed one of the bank tellers a note which said “give me what are 20s and 50s" before leaving the bank empty-handed. The suspect was apprehended after fleeing from police on a bike, according to the news release..
