According to the Medford (Ore.) Mail Tribune, a 14-year-old Oregon girl died Saturday after inhaling large amounts of helium from a canister at a party.
Police said those at the party had been consuming alcohol, smoking marijuana and inhaling helium.
According to a news release from the Medford Police Department, an autopsy said the girl's cause of death was: "traumatic helium gas and air embolism due to inhalation of helium gas mixture from a pressurized canister."
