Report: CIA Foils Al-Qaida Plan to Blow Up US-Bound Plane

According to a report from MSNBC.com, an al-Qaida plot to blow up a US-bound airplane on the one-year anniversary of the death of Osama bin Laden was thwarted by the CIA.

The plot involved a type of underwear bomb, according to the MSNBC report.
