Honor Student With Two Jobs Jailed for Truancy

A 17-year-old honor student from Texas has a busy schedule -- including a stint in jail.

According to Houston television station KHOU, a Texas judge last week ordered that the girl spend 24 hours in jail for truancy. The girl works a pair of jobs in addition to taking advance placement and college-level courses, according to the KHOU report.
