According to a news release from the New Jersey State Police, a 42-year-old New Jersey man was arrested on various charges after a search warrant was executed at his home last week and his girlfriend was allegedly found padlocked inside a bedroom at the residence.
Police said the woman may have been locked in the bedroom for extended periods of time over the last two years, according to the report.
