NFL Expected to Use Replacement Officials for Week 1

According to a report from NFL.com, the league told its teams on Thursday that replacement officials are set to work the first week of the NFL's regular season.

The NFL and the NFL Referees' Association remain at an impasse in labor negotiations. Replacement officials have worked the entire preseason thus far.
