A stiff prison sentence handed down to a woman who beat her in-laws' dog to death.
According to a report from the Orlando Sentinel, a Florida judge handed down a five-year prison sentence to the 26-year-old woman last Monday. The woman was convicted in July on animal cruelty charges for beating the dog to death with a bat, according to the Orlando Sentinel report.
