Woman Gives Birth in Jail Lobby After Being Arrested for Public Intoxication, Police Say

A strange story from California.

According to a report from the Santa Cruz (Calif.) Sentinel, police said a 29-year-old California woman who was arrested last weekend gave birth in the jail's lobby on Monday. The woman was arrested last Sunday on suspicion of being drunk in public, according to the Santa Cruz Sentinel report.
